 We have an app for iOS and Andriod! Now you can take all of your lessons on the go. You can even download all the course materials to your mobile devices so you can work through courses without wifi(coming soon for Andriod). That includes being able to download video which I know was a big issue for some of you.

iOS App Info


Overview

Jason Loughlin Guitar/Teachable iOS app lets students access their course content anytime, anywhere.

How to download the iOS app

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Search for Teachable or click this link to go directly to the app.
  3. Tap Get to install. You may be prompted for your Apple ID password or Touch ID.
  4. Alternatively, scan the QR code above to open the app page.


With the Teachable iOS app, students can:

  • Access all purchased courses with active enrollments
  • Stream content on the go, including:
  • Videos
  • Audio files
  • Handouts and worksheets
  • Download courses and individual lessons for offline viewing
  • Resume course progress from where you left off (syncs automatically with the web version)
  • Navigate smoothly between lessons, courses, and multiple schools
  • Complete lessons and track your progress
  • Submit feedback or feature requests directly through the app
  • Access content gated by course compliance rules
  • View lessons based on drip schedules, if enabled by the your's truly
  • Receive push notifications for new drip content and course progress reminders
  • Participate in open-ended assessments
  • Read and write comments within lessons(when that option is enabled within a course)


The mobile app only displays courses. The following are not supported:

  • Digital downloads
  • Community

Andriod App Info


Overview

Jason Loughlin Guitar/Teachable Andriod app lets students access their course. Working offline is not yet available as the app is still in the beta stage. This should be available in the next few months.

How to download the Andriod app

  1. Open Google Play on your Phone or Tablet.
  2. Search for Teachable or click this link to go directly to the app.
  3. Tap Get to install. You may be prompted for your Google password or Touch ID.

Logging in

  • Open the Teachable app on your phone or table.
  • Enter the email address associated with your Jason Loughlin Guitar/Teachable account and tap "Log In".
  • A one-time code (OTP) will be sent to your email.
  • Enter the 6-digit code into the app to complete the login process.
  • Once logged in, you'll see the Jason Loughlin Guitar school linked to your email.
  • Tap on the school and you will be taken to the Student Dashboard. This will show you all of the courses you're enrolled in. 
  • Tap a course to view all of the lessons, videos, pdfs and backing tracks.
  • Your progress is saved automatically and synced across the app and web.

Downloading content for offline viewing

Download an Entire Course:

  • On the home screen, tap the school containing the course you want to download.
  • Select the course.
  • On the course overview screen, tap the download icon (arrow) in the top right corner.
  • A green animation will appear while downloading. Once complete, the icon changes to a three-dot menu.
  • Locked lessons (due to drip or completion settings) won’t be downloaded.


Download an Individual Lesson:

  • Navigate to the school and course.
  • On the curriculum screen, tap the arrow icon to the right of the lesson name.
  • The green download animation will appear and switch to a three-dot icon when finished.
  • Accessing downloaded content
  • When offline, open the Teachable app as you normally would.
  • Navigate to the school, course, and lessons—just like you would online.
  • Downloaded content will be available even without internet access.


Removing downloaded content

Remove a Full Course Download:

  • Open the course and tap the three-dot icon in the top right corner.
  • Select Remove Downloads.

Remove a Single Lesson Download:

  • Tap the three-dot icon next to the downloaded lesson.
  • Select Remove Download.

Remove All Downloads:

  • From the home screen, tap your profile icon in the top right corner.
  • On the Settings page, select Clear all downloads.
  • Confirm when prompted.
