Dreamy Chord Extensions

Join me for a live lesson over Zoom on understanding and using chord extensions. Chord extensions are the chord tones above the root, 3rd, 5th and 7th. Being able to use extension lets you add more harmonic richness and texture to your chords and more sophistication to your lines.
I'll start off by showing you how to access chord extensions and how to alter extensions to add even more color. Next we'll learn a solo study over a cool tex-mex backing track. First time through we'll play a chord melody filled with 4 note closed chord shapes creating lush extensions a la Johnny Smith. The second time through we'll use those same shapes as templates for building lines.
The lesson is followed by a live Q&A.
